Principal's Message

Greetings Bobcat Families!

My name is Randi Fielding and I am honored to be the new principal of Butterfield Elementary STEAM Academy. 

As you may know, we are an A Rated School and have recently achieved the distinguished Cognia® Accreditation and the Cognia STEM Certification. Butterfield is the first school in Arizona to achieve both honors simultaneously. These two highly distinguished honors reaffirm what we already knew--Butterfield is an extraordinary place to send your child to school! 

At Butterfield, we believe in our kids! We know they can achieve their dreams! To help them get there, we are intentional about providing many enriching opportunities to learn:

Our emphasis on STEAM education means that your child will receive a well-rounded education and be nurtured with a sense of curiosity. When we wonder, we learn!

Your child will also receive high quality reading instruction, learn to read, and to love reading. Please read with your child every day and nurture that sense of wonder. Together, we will educate and empower our kids to achieve their goals!
